The Final Result of the 2009 Epoch Times International Photography Competition
Final results of the 2009 Epoch Times International Photography Competition were announced on September 3. The jury went through further evaluations and voted, 21 photos from 19 photographers from Taiwan, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, Indonesia, Israel, Burma, Iran and India won First, Second and Third Prizes in the three categories of News, Life in Society, and Landscapes. The works of 28 photographers from the United States, Columbia, Korea, India, Indonesia, Argentina, Taiwan, Singapore, Burma, Peru, Ireland and Germany won Awards for Excellence for each category.
The Jury consisted of senior photographers,
photo editors, affiliated with newspapers and magazines, including prestigious
painters, from United States, Australia and Taiwan and other countries and
regions. We will exhibit the winning and selected
photos on the Epoch Times website, also we will notify winning photographers
for the awards via email soon.
We thank all the photographers who participated and others who have supported this effort.
